My name is Lucas Danilas and I’m a brazilian/spanish versatile designerwith background in UX/UI, Web Design, Graphic Design and Art Direction. In the creative industry for over 12 years. Currently living in Barcelona and working as Graphic Designer for Kosmos Holding Kings & Queens League. Previous Senior Product Designer at VMLY&R (WPP company) and Senior Graphic Designer in ISL Agency. Living in Barcelona and always looking for new opportunities.
My professional career began in Rio de Janeiro, at SRCOM, after finishing my studies in Barcelona, with a six-year relocation to Brazil, before returning to Spain. At SRCOM, one of the largest event agencies in Brazil, I worked as a graphic designer and art director, for major live marketing events with worldwide visibility. The highlight goes to New Year’s Eve Celebration and Shows in Copacabana (for 5 consecutive years), and Rio Olympic Ceremonies bid, unique experiences and projects of great dimension and complexity. After years at SRCOM, I decide to work as a freelancer on a temporary mode for some companies in Rio and Barcelona, (Indio da Costa AUDT, Crama Design, BSWW and ACB), enriching experiences. But it is then that I am invited to join a new adventure as the first designer to be incorporated into ISL, a Spanish and American sports marketing agency, with headquarters in both countries, dedicated to soccer events, being responsible for creating the department from scratch and leading a small team of designers. I was in charge of the creative department, especially executing projects in the area of digital marketing and web design, leading projects for major clients such as FC Barcelona, LaLiga, Real Madrid, to name a few. I would also highlight projects like MIC USA, ISL rebranding and Tandhem Soccer Edits.
After a large period at ISL I decided to take a turn in my career and graduate as a UX/UI Designer (See PIDO project) . I joined a new international project at VMLY&R (a WPP company and former KingEclient) where I had to move to Saudi Arabia for 6 months to work as a Digital Product Designer at Al-Rajhi bank’s offices, and work on improvements to the Retail application and website, specifically on user flows, enhancements and design system. Also a unique experience in a totally different country and culture.
